I disagree breh.

I don't think Mr. Robot knew anything about blowing up the 71 buildings. If he did he'd have no reason to fight Elliot so hard over the one NY building....in his mind blow that up = fsociety wins....which is why he gave up after Elliot showed him there was no records in that building. Mr. Robot is crazy but he's not some blood thirsty maniac, he's not gonna blow up a building for no reason.

Technically you could say fsociety still won because E Corp is more or less done....but Mr. Robot don't give a fukk about that unless it's him doing it, which is why he snatched Tyrell up like Jojo Simmons a couple weeks ago. So expect Mr. Robot to go ham in the next few eps.

We need to see what transpired at Angela's place that weekend after he almost collar slammed Tyrell, between that and his lapses of memory while being mr robot, he's done more than he thinks he did.

We'll just agree to disagree and enjoy what happens next.

So far - the key/leadership symbolism is playing out exactly as it was in the dream.:ohhh:

S1 -Mr. Robot gives Elliot the key first. I guess this would have been when he figured out he was Mr. Robot. He also says that the key is "Made In Your Orient' - which I took to mean that fSociety was essentially formed by the events that shaped Elliot into who he is. ie his father's death.

S2 - Darlene gives him the key next - when he got out of prison, he assumes control of fSociety from her.

S3 - The point we're at now is when he comes back to his apartment to find Tyrell has the key - could be a metaphor for his input into Stage 2, or the fact that the FBI believe he's the mastermind.

S4? -Next Elliot gives the key to Angela when he finds it in the fish he's eating, and she accepts it like he proposed marriage. I feel like we're about to see this happen, especially after last week. God knows what she'll get up to with it.

S5? - She gives the key back to Elliot saying it doesn't fit - Maybe she figures out she's been played by whiter0se



Esmail might have given us the broad strokes of the story already, back in Season 1 :wow:

I suspect blowing up the 71 buildings was actually TYRELL's plan:
Destroy the company that fired him, while catching the last plane to Kiev.
White Rose altered the plan a bit to throw the FBI off the trail of the Dark Army and put them on to (the now defunct) F-Society.

tbh if you dressed an 8 year old me up in a suit and had me playing mind games with him, I'd prolly be confused af too. Don't know if I'd automatically say "hey that's me when I was 8, crazy time travel exists". She probably thought she was going insane.
