if you dont think rappers loving it was the main reason this generation even talks about it, you're mistaken.

Galaxy Quest is just as good as Tropic Thunder and i love Tropic Thunder.

Walk Hard is criminally underrated. Observe and Report is underrated too.

The Godfather is overrated for me.

Come on homie. Seriously?

Shout out to whoever said Donnie Darko is overrated too. Since then, the director's movies speak for themselves. I acknowledge Donnie Darko is good, but I think the audience made that film what it was, what I mean is they interpretations of it made it something else, and the director ran with it.

how do you think Norman Jewison(who was attached to direct) would've done?
his previous films that have racial themes include The Hurricane, and In The Heat of The Night, and A Soldier's Story (in case you didn't know)

To be honest I agree with Spike when he said with a film like X, it had to be made from a black director. no ifs ands or buts. However, I definitely wish it would have not been Spike because he is simply not a good filmmaker. (This is coming from a life long Spike Lee fan who rode this dude's nuts until I was 18.) Give me John Singleton directing, Ernest dikkerson cinematography, and Spike throwing in a couple of ideas with the ORIGINAL script and you have one of the greatest films of all time.

The best thing about Scarface is how Pacino carried an entire film on his back. Most of the supporting actors sucked yet Al really made you believe he was Tony Montana. You had to watch just to see what he was going to do next. His rise and eventual fall is also compelling because of how in-depth it goes into the story of The Bad Guy.

If anything the shytty acting helped Pacino shine that much more.

These fukking kids on here don't understand...they think hip-hop made Scarface popular :laff::laff::russ:

This is undoubtedly, the most pseudo-pretentious bullshyt ass comment in this thread.
