the fukkin definition of overrated. nothing about it is great. it's not even a well made movie.
I never got attached to ET, i know that's blasphemous to 80s babies, but i just dont care about that movie.

The only reason it's overrated is because of people like YOU.
It's a great movie, but not the be-all, see-all gangsta epic that people blow it up to be. Great movie.. but has many flaws (outside of it being any kind of dated) the pacing was slow, some acting was off with the supporting cast amongst other details that add up.

I'm serious here. Paid in Full is criminally underrated. I think maybe because Dame Dash produced it or it's viewed as a dumb hood movie.
Paid in Full is a quality gangster movie. Good acting. Solid period set/costumes. And I feel like 90% of movie watchers haven't seen it.

i don't think anything about the professional is underrated, true romance maybe overlooked. definitely a fun flick. and arquette's tiddies....

The best thing about Scarface is how Pacino carried an entire film on his back. Most of the supporting actors sucked yet Al really made you believe he was Tony Montana. You had to watch just to see what he was going to do next. His rise and eventual fall is also compelling because of how in-depth it goes into the story of The Bad Guy.
If anything the shytty acting helped Pacino shine that much more.
