I wanna see Rashad vs Gustaffson. Gives Rashad a trial run against a taller opponent to see if he has learned or made adjustments after losing to Bones. Other wise, I would prefer to see Rashad cut down to 185 cuz all other fights are boring. or been there done that already.

Gus is already facing Manuwa.

I agree that Rashad should go down to 185, he can make a serious run at the title.

Thats the exact reason why Rashad should face Gus, no1 gives a crap about Manuwa, lol.

Why would the UFC let Rashad potentially kill of a contender [in Gus]? I doubt Rashad gets another chance at Jones anytime soon. Unless he goes destroying fighters left and right.

well Rashad wont fight Glover as they train together, the UFC obviously doesnt care about that Jones/Gus rematch that much otherwise they would've made it instead of this Manuwa guy. It's almost like suddenly Dana n ufc dont wanna do immediate remtaches anymore, like Frankie Edgars whole career never happened.

Let gus n Rashad fight, whose to say that Gus dont tear his acl in the manauwa fight and hes out for a year and now u got no1 to fight Jones after glover. Then what, back to vitor and sonnen to get free title shots.

Interview where Rashad says he's staying at 205 - http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/video/si-video/20131115/2013-11-15-clip02.sportsillustrated/

Joe Lauzon created this graph of how he scored GSP/Hendricks

Even though Hendricks won 2 and 4 by a much larger margin... GSP definitely had 3... 5 was close but GSP had it.... and 1 was VERY close, and while I gave it to GSP I could see it going the other way. 2 of the judges agreed with me and gave the first to GSP as well.

Rashad and Glover do not train together.

The UFC definitely cares about a rematch, which is why they gave Gus a very winnable opponent in Manuwa. After Glover, you have contenders in Gus and Cormier. Nobody wants to see a rematch with Rashad this soon, especially because (other than the Chael fight) Rashad has been looking very mediocre.

Glover is being mentored by Shackleford but was doing some cross training with Blackzillian's in 2012 I remember. Most fighters even though they fight out of 1 gym, they train in several before a fight. But in the past, Rashad and Glover said they were willing to fight each other, but everytime it was trying to be setup 1 or the other has backed down (mostly was Rashad backing down).

I don't remember Rashad and Glover ever saying they wouldn't fight each other. And I don't remember Glover ever training at the Blackzillian gym. You have links? I know that Glover trains or has trained at Chuck's gym, ATT and Blackhouse.

Rashad said publicly he would fight Glover, then Dana offered him the fight and Rashad turned it down said 1 month wasn't enough time.

Besides Gus & Glover, There aren't many intriguing matchups left for Rashad at 205. Gus already has a opponent that will be a cakewalk towards the Jones rematch and Glover already has Jones :manny: so, I don't know who else the UFC can match him up with.

Shogun could be a possible matchup, but he's coming off back to back loses and Evans is on a 2 fight win streak which does nothing for him. I also think he crushes Phil Davis again.

Outside of Gus, Glover, Evans and Davis 205 is :flabbynsick: which is why I wanna see Evans make to the move to 185, but I think he really wants to get another crack at Jones.

But that had nothing to do with [ever] training with him.. Rashad would've taken the fight if given sufficient training time.

As i stated he turned it down, blamed it on short notice, if he really wanted the fight and back into title contention he would've taken the fight. Figthters aren't exactly the most honest ppl and dont always say the reason why they are taking or not taking the fight.

It had nothing to training with him though. Find me an article that shows that Glover trains or did train or even visited the Blackzillian gym.
