Khabib fought Conor differently he was never supposed to have engaged Conor that’s why. Conor was engaging Khabib more and Khabib wanted Conor to suffer he didn’t want to end it quickly. With Justin Khabib was super aggressive and timed his takedowns excellent

That’s true to an extent, but Gaethje offered zero resistance on the ground. He seemed to have no jiu jitsu awareness on the ground whatsoever. As good as Khabib looked, Gaethje looked like a white belt.

From his comments it didn't seem like Justin took the grappling aspect of MMA serous and brought this L on himself (it was gonna get brought on him anyway:dame:)

I don't have a dog in the GOAT stuff and I fukk with Khabib, but there's something very:patrice: about him dominating a division full of strikers and his stans acting like he's doing what he does against other grapplers.

what other grappler could he have fought that was more decorated than Justin though? That’s what makes the GSP fight so intriguing. The other 2 fighters maybe @storyteller liked Kevin Lee’s chances and Tony Ferguson. Both who I think Khabib would wash.

Best grappler in his divison is Ferg, who's skills would just be hindsighted in 5 years by haters anyway.

Gaethje, RDA, Trujillo, Tibeau all had grappling base

Jiu Jitsu

Ryan is insanely good. I saw him walk into the gym, slam a pint of whiskey, and then roll up a room full of brown and black belts (without even warming up first) while wearing jeans and a t-shirt. He would even be mid-way through a round while talking with someone sitting against the wall, just effortlessly mounting and pressuring the person under him and calmly holding a conversation with someone else. It was vulgar :scusthov: the guy on bottom was fighting fir his life.

It was one of the craziest things I’ve seen in 15 years of Brazilian Jiujitsu.

It’s a shame he doesn’t play more of his top pressure game in MMA. I’ve rolled with a lot of good BJJ guys, and Ryan Hall is the only one (when I was already a brown belt too) to give me a panic attack. He had full mount and it was after class (no timer running.) He was basically water boarding me with his sweaty t-shirt/chest pressure and I wanted to extend a limb so he’d submit me and get it over with, but he wanted a mounted guillotine and not an armbar so he didn’t take my arms. It felt like a car was parked on top of my chest and face. I’ve got 25 lbs on him too. I’ve even had a nightmare about that shyt. He fukked me up. :damn:
