will never understand why the mma community and the ufc treat the diazs like they are irreplaceable. They have their fans no doubt but the amount of unprofessionalism and headache they bring dwarfs their drawing capability by a large margin.

They amongst Conor and others have brought awareness about getting the pennies the UFC has been giving for decades now.

if everyone was paid like conor ufc would go the way of affliction. Its already slowly turning into boxing with one or 2 ME fight cards and everyone talkin about waiting for such and such because hes the $$$ fight. I was happy for cejudo but I cringed when he called out TJ, the lustre behind tj v dj was 'arguably the best bm coming down to face the best fw' who just so happens to have the most title defences in ufc history. Not tj vs any bm even before they've had 1 defence, its just getting out of hand.

And before nate stepped in to take the conor fight he was 2-3 with an 18-10 rec I dont get where this entitlement stems from, was dude ever a champion?

UFC took away their sponsors and UFC doesn’t pay that great in the first place... so there’s that.

It’s not turning into boxing it’s worse than boxing because in boxing at least there are other championships fighters can fight for. UFC there is only 1. Also coupled with the fact they have so many cards no duh the cards have been watered down.

You don’t need a championship to get entitlement. If you have the people on your side that pretty much dictates everything.

nate diaz blows. Dude isnt shyt. Hes lost one third of his fights. I dont get it either. Its like people are judging him on one fight. He was never the top guy, ever. His demands are unreal for a mid card guy

They may not be irreplaceable but they're in no rush to let them go, the UFC is sorely lacking stars. Conor was gone two years, Jones is a habitual fukk up, Rousey is gone, Ngannou was exposed. It's exactly why Brock Lesnar is back.

The thing is, every fighter evolves. He may have hit a point in his career where he indeed is elite...we just can't prove it or see it until he fights more (or if he ever does again).

A lot of fighters end up going on streaks in their late 20's early 30s and turn into that elite fighter.
