UFC targeting B.J. Penn vs. Ryan Hall for November or December event

Please just fukking stop, BJ :mjcry:

If he gets TKO'd by Ryan fukking Hall... :snoop:

BJ gonna be approaching Liddell territory if he keeps fukking around.
Man why is BJ allowed to fight still? I know Ryan has been in camp, so he's definitely got a fight signed. I hope this isn't it though. Ryan was my BJJ coach and I'm very biased towards the guy.

Ryan is talented as fukk and he should be a clear favorite in this fight. Most of Ryan's best skills (his guard passing, submissions from the top, and submissions off the sprawl) have yet to be displayed in the octagon. I think Ryan can get BJ down with an Imanari roll or something and finish a heel hook or come up on top and catch a darce or guillotine choke off the pass. If BJ tries to take him down I see Ryan either taking the back or getting one of those two chokes.

I think BJ can only realistically win this fight with boxing and forcing Ryan to stay in the pocket. Ryan does a lot of Karate too and I think he can maintain enough distance to not have to sweat BJ's hand skills. BJ's ground game is phenomenal but BJ generally passes clean to the mount before he takes the back. Ryan is very good at preventing BJ's best style of guard passing with counters that go right into 4-11 heel hooks.

Has BJ won a fight since the 3rd Matt Hughes fight?

BJ was my favorite fighter of all time for many years. I hate to see him doing this to his legacy. It really hurts to watch.

I don't disagree but I'll always be big fans of both of them.

I do think that Nate got some overdue good will from MMA fans and some fellow fighters and then unfortunately squandered some of it by acting how he's been acting since Conor vs Khabib was announced.

I like them for refusing to accept the UFC song and dance that has so many other fighters complaining about pay and being broke. I get frustrated when I hear Diaz turn down quality opponents but I can't blame them when the UFC treats fighters like simple commodities on a gang of occasions. Basically, if the UFC wants to treat fighters that way then I won't be too mad when a Diaz brother or someone else with leverage demands to be compensated for their worth.

UFC gotta start acting like a billion dollar corporation, shyt ain't some regional organization holding fights on a reservation, asking your title holder to defend against another elite contender that he hasn't prepared for on one day notice is some bozo shyt. I don't blame Tyron at all for telling them fukk outta here with that nonsense.
Yes. Let alone getting mad or passive aggressive when fighters decline at last minute notice.

BJ must have some dirt on the UFC. He has no muthafukkin business being in the Octagon in 2018. Hell you can make a case that he shouldn’t have been in the their since losing to Nick Diaz.
He retired after that fight and that was the best time for him to do so. I just looked and I don’t even remember BJ fighting Dennis Siver but I guess he lost to him most recently.
