Well that's exactly it. If JDS beats Francis, who does he have to keep winning against to get another title shot? You're right people have been asking low key for Francis v Stipe.

At least with Lewis he's on a roll and it shakes up the division. I feel like JDS needs to be fighting nikkas ranked lower than Francis. You're right again if Francis loses he has no business looking for a title fight for a while...

I feel like it's a trap match this forces Francis to show he's for real.... ok... but it also rewards JDS for taking out a contender and puts him max 1 fight away from rematching Stipe for a trilogy.
is why I did not understand your high risk low reward for JDS comment. He has everything to gain here. A francis win will be anti climatic and anything short of an early brutal finish is not going to help his momentum going into a fight with stipe (if that's the plan)

Because even if he beats Francis I don't see UFC turning right around and booking him against Stipe again so soon. That's why I feel like it has the makings of the Yair Rodriguez vs Edgar match up again...

A win puts him back in contention and with the way these new guys now do fights he could be facing stipe by December

Yea it does JDS is obviously finished. Might as well use his name to build he new crop. Plus everyone else is booked
what name? he's 3-3 in his last 6. Talkin about name value like hes Chuck Liddell or something, do you really think opinions on ngannou are going to be swayed by him beating JDS? Of course the fight makes no sense you just always have to be the contrarian :beli:

"name value" yeah if he was facing a chase sherman, Francis ngannou has too much hype to get a rub from beating a JDS that's slept in his last 3 losses and is fresh off one.

What in Gods name are you babbling about? You are a sad pathetic joyless individual
U -"He's a former champ and people know him"
"So is shogun doesn't mean beating him at this point would legitimize a prospect"
U -"you don't even know what a prospect is"
"So 4 years is a vet now"

English mofo, can you read it? I know you have short term memory loss and poor reading comprehension but considering we were initially talking about ngannou vs JDS I would think it would be obvious

And who said 4 years is a vet you dumb fukk? That's just you jumping to conclusions because you are a feminine bytch who loves to argue and bytch and complain all day. Ngannou is a young fighter. An up and comer. A rising star. A prospect. So yes, it does make sense at this stage of his career to go against someone like JDS, who's obviously on the decline. It's let's the brass know that he's serious and not a fluke. That beating a former champ means he's ready. So causal s such as yourself who only check for CM punk can go hey this guy beat JDS and AA. KO'd them. He must be good. And like I said, there are no other fights at HW for Ngannou right now. I love how you mention shogun too because that's basically what he does. Fight guys like Corey Anderson and Villante. Him and JDS are basically gatekeepers now.

Thank me for educating you.....again :snoop:

lol my problem with this fight is it actually does nothing for Francis (who the ufc is suppose to be building). How is it a high reward duke? I know the ufc can easily set up ngannou vs stipe after this saying "well he just beat the #2 right?" but in reality JDS is damaged goods. 3-3 in his last 6 and just coming off a KO, is a fighter headed in the wrong direction. He can't even serve as a legit gatekeeper right now. On paper with the way things stand this should be a squash for Francis.

:jbhmm:the way I see it everyone and their mother think Francis has next, JDS exposes him it proves (well the perception would be a rather) that rumours of his need to retire were premature.

Can't believe you are on that Lewis vs Francis tip, dang they got u too.
Then who should Francis be fighting? :jbhmm:
