Ngannou is a young fighter. An up and comer. A rising star. A prospect. So yes, it does make sense at this stage of his career to go against someone like JDS, who's obviously on the decline. The genesis of this conversation was about jnr vs ngannou. The poster seemed to believe just being a name and ex champion was enough to give any upcoming fighter "the rub". I made a comparison that shogun is a name and ex champion if a prospect beat him in 2017 would that mean anything . He said I didn't know what a prospect was.
