Whats not to get sbout the Woodley hate? I remember a couple years ago the popular consensus on Woodley was he had a "boring" style. So he already wasnt well liked, then he sits out and waits for the title shot, so tht makes him boring, AND black, AND entitled. Then he goes into that Lawler fight with fans and experts completely writing him off and KO's the fan favorite and then starts making demands. Of course he's gonna get hate in todays climate by the majority white mma fans

Woodley was KOing nikkas idk how boring his style ever was...

I understand the racial remarks he's been getting which is ignorant... part of me also thinks because Wonderboy is also from around the area.... I don't know where the hate stems from because Woodley hasn't done anything... we have had other black champions but he's not getting no type of love...

I also peeped it seem like they were booing Jon Jones name too?

I'm also trying to understand what incentive Eddie has to fight Conor... I get in his reasoning it's the easiest fight... but you not getting paid tho...? You the champ too! Idk that ain't right

Here is Eddie's current contract (it was released when Bellator and the UFC were in a lawsuit):

- A tiered share of pay-per-view revenue, starting at "$1 for each ‘buy' between 200,000 and 400,000 buys, $2 per buy between 400,000 and 600,000 buys, and $2.50 per buy over 600,000 buys."

- A starting salary of a $70,000/$70,000 show/win split, which includes $5,000 raises per win with a cap at $210,000

Eddie Alvarez's UFC offer states intent for quick title shot, PPV cut (Updated)

Let's say UFC 205 does 1 million buys. Stacked card, first time in NYC, and the company's biggest star. I think it does more, I'm guessing in the 1.2 million range. That means Eddie will be getting $1.6 million off PPV buys. Plus, $85k/85k purse (he has 3 wins in the UFC, so that's bumped from $70k to $85k). I wouldn't be surprised if his purse is more, now that he's champion. Let's say (worst case scenario) he loses. That's $1.6 million (PPV) + $85k (purse) + $40k (Reebok pay-out for a champ) = $1.725 million. He'll be making at least $1.725 million. Eddie's not going to be getting the money Nate got, but he's still making bank. He's also not the draw that Nate is.

Let's say the PPV does 1.2 million. That means he will be making $2.1 million + $85k + $40k = $2.225 million.

Eddie never got that contract though, he and Bellator had litigation they settled with Eddie returning to Bellator and then he was released when Coker came in.

I didn't know, I thought he did. I'm pretty sure he got a similar deal. I remember a few other fighters being upset at how good his contract was.
