How's that gonna stop him from getting punched in the face by Aldo tho.

He says the front leg being stuck out so far maybe a deception for Aldo. I do believe he will try to time Aldo with a straight left when he goes in for a leg kick. I really believe Conor thinks his reflexes will be able to catch Aldo.

I don't know why Conor keeps on making excuses for Ronda. He's said that she was distracted by media obligations etc. Is unknowingly revealing that he thinks the media stuff is distracting him, and that could be a reason he loses?

I say this because I find it strange how he can purport to know what was going on in Ronda's head.

I'm probably reading too much into this but I find it interesting that he's suggesting that the media of all things, something which he has admitted has irritated to him at times, can be the downfall of a fighter. Will it apply to him as well?

Conor McGregor bigger than Jesus? I'd 'whoop his ass'
By Lewis Mckeever @Mckeever89 on Dec 3, 2015, 11:05a 50

"The Notorious" jokes about what it would be like to face Jesus Christ in the Octagon.

On December 12th, 2015, Conor McGregor will face his toughest opponent to date. The Irishman will collide with reigning featherweight champion Jose Aldo in a title unification bout at UFC 194 and, according to McGregor, it's not just the pound-for-pound #1 he thinks he can beat.

In a recent interview with TMZ, "The Notorious" joked that he would "whoop" Jesus's ass in the Octagon.

"Me versus Jesus in the Octagon? I tell you what, there's not a man alive that can beat me," McGregor said (transcription via MMAMania). "But Jesus ain't alive so I don't fukking know, maybe he can come back from the dead, I don't know. I'd still whoop his ass."

As well as Jesus, McGregor also believes he can beat lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos and title challenger Donald Cerrone. The 27-year-old referred to 155 lbs. as the "stuck in the mud division" at the UFC's Go Big press conference in September.

The interim featherweight champion will meet Jose Aldo in a headlining bout at UFC 194 on Dec. 12 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
They really really are pushing for Sage and Paige. I think Rose beats Paige. And I think the verdict is still out on Sage he definitely will get protected but having his father pull him out of TriStar gym. Was not a good move at all!

It wouldn't matter in the long run if either one caught an L. They're too early in their careers. If they get on a streak after they'll still be crazy popular. They're white, blonde, pretty, and sociable.

I think he'll use the threat of the straight to deter the leg kicks too. I'm actually banking on it working when I predict him to win, the mental advantage seems like it's his so if he can hurt Aldo walking through the first few...he could make Aldo hesitant to use them.

I hear what you're saying. Doesn't really make too much sense why Sage is getting more of a "popularity" push over Yair

I'm sure he will try to egg Aldo to keep throwing the leg kicks acting as if he isn't hurt by them. But you really can't prepare for the type of leg pain Aldo is gonna throw. He's not gonna be able to eat as many as he thinks. I really do believe that wide stance will be a negative for him. I feel like he will try to straight left Aldo and spinning back kick it when Aldo is against the fence

I hope he does go back to his punishing leg kicks. I'd have to rewatch his more recent fights but I remember thinking he doesn't kick as much as he used to. Yeah they can be predictable and opponents will prep for it, but those shyts are a game changer when he lands. Opponents eat 2-3 of those and they're like "fukk this gameplan of mine!"

Sounds like he's got them excuses all lined up :sas1:

It's funny cuz he's gonna sit there and act like Ronda didn't pretty much call Holm's whole gameplan on that talk show prior and STILL took a vicious L, along with appearing as if she didn't prepare for her at all :sas2:
