Uriah Hall is like a video game character with maxed out stats but the person playing him doesn't know how to use him and is just mashing buttons.
Yep, this.

He's a mental midget, I knew he would lose just listening to him on chaels podcast the week before talking about how he cant handle getting hit :mjlol:

Dikkriders, bro.

Real talk JJ isn't any more skilled than any of the top tier guys. Dude's execution and use of his natural advantages is great in the ring. But pound for pound many guys can fukk with him.
Idk man, his clinchwork is elite. Won him the DC fight off that alone

If he wasn't "6 taller than DC that clinch work would have looked a lot different. That's why I say P4P. I think the top tier guys are all greatly skilled

But the fact he is tall and actually uses his height is what's dope. He's still having trouble using his height and reach with his boxing that's why he prefers grappling and elbows. Once he puts all that together jones will be an extremely big problem. When he moves up to HW will be interesting how he navigates there also.

I'm not buying that Jones wasn't serious about training before. If he was half assing it the whole time prior to the hit & run he would've lost a long time ago.

Not during training camp, but it's pretty well known that he would let himself go after a fight and before he started serious training for his next one. This time it looks like he's actually going into camp in great shape.

I don't know if putting on that muscle was wise unless he's definitely going up. If he beats DC (relax, I'm sure it's very likely) the only guy left to beat is Rumble and he would clean out the division. A move to HW is the next logical step if that's what he chooses to do.
