They wanted to do it for Super Bowl weekend I heard, but DC's foot won't be healed by then. They're looking at May for the fight so possibly Memorial Day weekend.

We had mvp on the show he knows he's dope and he knows he needs a higher level of competition but he also doesn't want to he wants to build up slowly leaving no stone left to unturn so he's to properly ready.

I don't think they'd want to risk him getting injured. IMO I doubt the layoff has any affect, if he's been training he should be fine.
