Lol, not even gonna lie. I been seen multiple McGregor threads over the months but still haven't watched one of his fights yet. That's why I said "apparently". I mean, MMA fans KNOW what Aldo can do already, but hella people jumping on McGregor wagon. I'm guessing he must be good if they're gonna vote against Aldo, a P4P candidate over the years. Maybe I'm just not seeing it.

Maybe the situation is similar to when BJ Penn fought Frankie Edgar. Penn and Aldo are beasts. Frankie outworked Penn, but I thought one of the first two fights could have went either way. Can't remember which one though. But is McGregor going to outwork Aldo or something? I would be shocked if he did.

The thing about Connor is his size, power, and striking.

I don't know about his clinch work, TDD, or bjj cause he hasn't needed it. But standing up he can definitely fukk Aldo up. He's got enough skill.

But then again...he hasn't fought anyone good yet. So, we'll see.

I could see dudes point, due to not understanding English and being reactive (mostly in the staredowns ) it just seems like mcgregor is running circles around him. It doesn't help that Connor is the leading story for everything happening while aldo just has that same blank stare during staredowns

Aight so I finally watched one CW fight and then a highlight video of all his fights. Hmm, to his credit it would appear he outclassed all his opponents thus far. That said, none of his opponents look or fight like Aldo or the contenders he's fought through. Still giving the edge to Aldo until proven otherwise. I'd predict it to be a war since both love striking, and McGregor is clean with the power punching.
