Yes, I don't see how he wouldn't. How much of a chance is up in the air but he has strengths in his stand up that Aldo lacks/doesn't use like more dynamic movement, better range.
But I'm also curious to how Aldo will push him. Will he be able to get and stay close to Connor? Will Aldo be able to dominate in the pocket or the clinch? So many questions. This shyt is gonna be hype, I can't wait.

Are you saying it's because Silva is older and has some damage? That could be it, but also I think Machida knows he's aging as well, and I think he wants the strap before he retires, no matter who has the belt. He knows now is the time to make the run, and I'd love to see that fight. More than Machida/Weidman II actually.
