With the addition of McDoom, Michigan will now end up signing at least five prospects out of Florida, and they're still in the race for four-star tight end Nick Eubanks among others. Something that's been discussed ad nauseam regarding Michigan's recruiting is that they're going into national areas and picking up strong talent in those spots. They have yet to pull the five-star types out of Florida, but are setting the groundwork to be able to make a run at many of them in the 2017 class and beyond. That's a lot about what these recruitments mean when you get past the actual Xs and Os part of recruiting; it's about setting a foundation and building from there. Seeing Michigan offer a bunch of players in Fort Lauderdale and SoFla this week is indication of this idea. Look for them to continue to hit the talent-rich areas hard.

Eddie McDoom, Dylan Crawford, Chris Evans, Ahmir Mitchell, Brad Hawkins and possibly Donald Stewart and Nate Johnson give the Wolverines a wealth and variety of talent at the skill positions in 2016. Michigan fans should be excited about this haul.

That florida and Jersey pipeline is lookin' lovely. I'm sure MSU is popping bottles about the rare Cass-Tech recruit who ACTUALLY pans out, but, i'll take this, over THAT :myman:

Remember Hoke old WR coach Jeff Hecklinski said speed is overrated:mjlol:that old staff was a joke:scust:

:mjlol: they had Chesson for 3 years and didn't know how to take advantage of his speed. Imagine how good Funchess would of been under this staff. Love the way this staff be moving the WRs in certain positions depending on what the defense is running. (Putting Chesson at TE against MSU against a LB, Chesson TD against OSU against Darron Lee, bubble screens, etc) The little things
