I was told this afternoon by an excellent source to not expect any verbal commitments to Michigan this weekend.

Bad news? Of course not. There's always a plan.

Because of the Signing of the Stars event on National Signing Day, I am expecting most (if not all) of Michigan's remaining pledges to be silently committed to the staff until February 3rd. If they don't, it's either because Michigan believes it's their only chance to publicly secure said kid or the kid just doesn't want to wait to make it public.

Based on what I was told, Michigan is only accepting what they are referring to as silent commitments at this point. I 100% believe this is motivated at making the Wolverines the #1 story in the country on NSD. If I am able to get any more details, I'll post them ASAP.
