New Michigan commit Dylan Crawford says David Long is his priority now. Wants to start CA tradition at UM. @TomVH

Would definitely embrace this tradition:feedme:
Why do I see a Spartan hat and a Georgia helmet in the background :camby:

he's raw also had the best throw of day besides Patterson none of these QB's look great

Yea, based on just watching them in live action, I actually would agree that Shea Patterson is the best QB in this class. And that's not a knock on Peters, who I think is gonna beast at Michigan. Eason really DOES remind me and everyone else of Matt Stafford. Dude even LOOKS like him. AND he's going to Georgia. :heh: Felipe Franks looks like a fukkin headcase. He didn't look good AT ALL. Dumb decisions. Meh arm strength.

One more thing on Patterson though, I dont know why but I've got Manziel vibes from him. Like, the not positive vibes. Word is the kid parties his ass off. I believe he went to 3 or 4 high schools before finally settling in at IMG Academy in Bradenton. (They barely go to class just so you know. It's a private 'school' that's #1 goal is to prepare students for the next level. My buddy's niece goes there and plays tennis.)

Devin Asiasi WILL officially visit Michigan the weekend of January 22nd. He reconfirmed with Isaiah tonight who is on site in San Antonio. I'm going to add it to his profile here shortly.

That being said, I am told that Chase Allen is still a take for the staff if he decides that he wants in during his visit the weekend of January 15th. I'm not 100% sure it would shut Asiasi out, but it very well may.

I'm not really sure where Jacob Mathis sits right now, as I have no clue when he plans to decide at this point. He has yet to give me a date.

Look like the staff moved on quickly

This staff is so on top of everything. I guarantee that they've got plans A through X in the works. They work damn hard.

“January is the most important month of recruiting,” Harbaugh said. “It’s make-or-break time for recruiting. It’s a team effort. But yeah, there are the famous home visits and things like that, which I enjoy the heck out of because you get to go all over the country and meet wonderful families that are good, genuine people and they have one very important thing in common: they want the very best for their son.”
Gawdbaugh quote from earlier this week about recruiting. Also love how the staff is attacking different regions Cali Florida Texas Georgia Jersey Alabama more national recruiting:blessed:.Even if you don't get em gotta make your presence known in these areas. At least 10 High level 2017 kids in state next year 7 IMO are must gets DPJ is must cannot let that kid go to MSU or OSU

Sounds like Michigan is out of it for Levi
yeah too bad really liked his film:manny:
Steve Wiltfong alluded to this in his post from this morning, and I was able to continue to dig on it today and it appears that Michigan is out for four-star defensive end Levi Onwuzurike.

This development must have taken place sometime in the last 24 hours, as the same source that informed me it was Michigan or Washington yesterday says they have no clue where he will commit to at this point, but that it appears to not be Michigan.

This probably moves Connor Murphy up the ladder, and I expect Michigan to push hard for him on his official visit in a couple weeks.

No sugarcoating this one as this recruitment goes into the "L" column for the staff, as he was somebody they were very high on throughout the process, as we've been reporting.

SAN ANTONIO, TX ---- Top100 tight end Devin Asiasi and his Concord (CA) De La Salle teammate Boss Tagaloa have set their official visits to Michigan, and Asiasi says his interest in the Wolverines is high.

"I'm definitely interested in Michigan," he said. "Boss and I will be out there on the 22nd. We're going out there and seeing Coach Harbaugh and seeing how he runs the Michigan program."

Asiasi's primary recruiter throughout the process has been tight ends coach Jay Harbaugh. He says that relationship has helped keep Michigan in the thick of the race for his services.

"We always go back and forth and have built a good relationship," he said. "Their season was really great. Hopefully they can build on it next season and going forward. I want to play somewhere with a great coaching staff. I'd like to graduate in three and half years and play somewhere I can prepare for life after football."

The four-star teammates currently have no timeline set for a decision date, but with a January 29th official visit set to USC, a commitment on National Signing Day (February 3rd) is highly likely. Asiasi is currently ranked 50th overall in the 2016 247Sports Composite Rankings.
These 2:damn:make room somehow if they want in
