just finished. dope show. definitely top-3 marvel show.

so what's next? are these guys gonna be in infinity war?

i was lowkey hoping for a daredevil cameo in this season, but i get why they didn't wanna put him in. i think next season will be the return of Billy.

When I spoke to Charlie Cox briefly he said no crossover with the cinematic universe is going down, but DD S3 is in the works.

:francis:Just finished the season and it was a five out of ten. A big disappointment in my eyes. When they added that Billy Russo/Jigsaw was in the army with Frank and that he was his best friend:snoop:, I pretty much guessed correctly how the whole season would go down. For starters there was way too much time focused on Midani in the series, we have no idea who she is but we are treated to all her beliefs, opinions, family, business and personal relationships.:why:I mean damn, is this the punisher or Homeland. Thats a major theme with what's wrong with the show. It doesn't know what it wants to be. It tries to be a part Homeland, part The Unit, and part Person of Intetest, all based on characters in the Punisher comic book series. It all mashes together horribly and sloppily. They also retracted that old army story of Frank being betrayed in season 2 Daredevil where he killed Schoovner and supposedly got his revenge. Billy wasn't mentioned at all on Daredevil so that tells me they just made this shyt up on the fly. :upsetfavre:And how does it not occur to Frank that Billy was involved with Rawlins ,Schoovner and the heroin when Gunner literally tells him with his dying breath in the woods that BILLY WAS IN ON IT.:heh:I mean WTF, did someone just forget that Gunner said that. :salute:The Lewis storyline was handled excellently and in my opinion and Frank, Micro and his family's interactions were the best part of the series. The worst part of the season was how they always tried to tie Midani and Billy into the story even when it made no logical sense. Like how Billy's company gets hired to protect the Senator when they are a start-up and how Midani came to the park alone after putting the tracer on Frank.:mjpls:And dont think I didn't catch how the only black man in the series was treated as a helpless fool who always needed saving. :obama:All in all the acting was very good but the story had too many illogical points and plot holes like the very end when the C.I.A director said fukk it and let the biggest serial killer and vigilante in the world go free:bryan:. Maybe next season will be better.

So many shows, just getting around to finishing this up. I haven't went through the whole thread to see reactions, but I definitely felt they could have benefited from a shorter season. Maybe it was because they were handling some of the same material with Frank going after the people responsible for his family's murder that was covered in DD Season 2, but once all the players were exposed I was ready for them to wrap it up.

A bit too many CIA/DHS shenanigans and conversations in the bunker, and episodes that blend together.

I did like the relationship between Frank/Micro that developed over the course of the season, Micro grew on me by the end :ehh:. Some of the family stuff was solid with Pete looking after them. Micro's son was :gucci:though.

Lewis' plot started out solid, but started to get :francis:for me as it went along. The conclusion at the hotel was good.

Madani has such a pretty face, first time seeing the actress in anything :whoo:. Her role wasn't really something we haven't seen before though in other shows.

Jon Bernthal continues to be great in the role, dude has the perfect gruff voice every-time he speaks. The final confrontation with Billy at the amusement park was well done :ehh:, although I think they could benefit in making the action scenes differ even more. Banshee still holds the crown for best action I've seen on TV.
