Finally finished this and what a mess. Have Frank Castle stock up on weapons getting ready to go full Punisher at the end of DD season 2 only to have him burn his vest in the opening scene of this and "retire". It was there I already realized this wasn't going to go as I had hoped it would go.
A lot of these Marvel shows are suffering from a shytload of filler and this had to have some of the worst. The pointless convo's between Dinah and her mother, the entire PTSD/Lewis Wilson subplot, the weird cuckold subplot with Micro's family and worst of all, that awful, awful scene with Billy Russo's mom. Gesus what a bunch of utter shyt was that! Season basically should've been Frank and Micro steal the guns, Madani gets in the way, Frank still being alive comes out, Russo and Rawlins come after him, cut to the last three or four episodes and throw the rest in the trash. Don't make me forget about the countless times Frank had to be saved from almost certain death by Madani's interference, only to have Madani immediately be incompetent as fukk and let the bad guy(s) get away so the entire story wouldn't end there and then. I also couldn't help but think that they only made Frank wear the skull vest in the assault on Micro's base so they could have some footage of him looking like the Punisher in the trailers because this shyt might as well have been "second rate political conspiracy thriller series #45" by the way 90% of the season played out. If it weren't for the way the last two episodes played out (in particularly how Frank did Rawlins and Russo) this would've been pure manure.
