I'm conflicted on who ABC thinks the core demographic is for this show. I know ALIAS was a hit for ABC and Castle has a strong, smart female lead, but I'm skeptical on the show's popularity.

On the other hand, I know Agents of SHIELD is falling below expectations, but that Marvel/Disney/ABC connection is powerful.

Hayley Atwell is a pretty white woman with an accent. Soundbwoy will tune in just to see her chest every week.

She's an interesting character in the comics and has a deep history with the WW2 effort and SHIELD in the comics. Marvel is trying to expand into tv and since they had a good reception to the Peggy Carter short they did a few years back, they decided to make it into a TV show. Based on the period and just the difference in what the show can be, I think it's a good move

I will watch it. Agents of shield really pickedb up once they got rid of the crazy agent coulson story line and started introducing the inhumans. That show is legit solid now
