No Whammies!!
Man I just want to scream at this show like "get on with it" :damn:.

Episodes are starting to repeat themselves.

I don't think they should have let them be trapped in the Astral Plane for more than one episode. It seems like almost every Sci Fi show over the past year needs to have a "Protagonist trapped in a mental world" episode. Just like in the 90's every show had to have a "Groundhog Day" episode.

It be Patrick Stewart David is too old

One thing about this episode...
For the first time we got some information on the time period it takes place in:

Ptonomy says that he used to listen to "99 Luftballons" as a child.
That means the show definitely takes place in a time period where Charles Xavier looks like Patrick Stewart.

Can someone explain Syd's powers? It seems like it should be simple to understand but damn I'm confused.

She touches you, she body swaps with you. She is now inside your body, and your inside hers.

After a set period of time (seems to be a few hours) not only do you change back, you physically swap spots too.

That's what was throwing me off. Thanks.

It's why a lot of people were confused after the first ep, but I broke it down in this post:

Fred.

I learned more from you Uatu than I did after watching every week. I may need to see your recap ever week.:blessed:

You may have to do a "Talking Live" type thing after every weeks show:banderas:

To be brutally honest... I think she.. or it is the Shadow King.

Shadow King - Marvel Universe Wiki: The definitive online source for Marvel super hero bios.

Well yes it has to be that time period and also they have tablets and stuff . mental health is a big part of legion as a character so it makes sense
Renewed for season 2:blessed:

I loved how detailed Ptonomy's story was. It really shows how he remembers everything. The actor is doing a great job. All of them are in fact.

Even Lenny was creeped out by Cary & Kerry :pachaha:

"Directed by Hiro Murai":gladbron:

:usure: The astral plane is damn near indistinguishable from reality at this level:

:whoo: Who's shorty at the booth?

wasnt that syd?
Just finished.

At this point it doesn't even matter if they say it's the Shadow King, it's definitely the Shadow King. That whole "did you know I knew your father?" part sealed it for me.

Anyway, cool episode. I liked it but I can understand why someone would say it was a waste of time since it was more or less the first episode again.

And that musical number was dope. I never really found Aubrey Plaza sexy but that shyt was :whew:

Fred.
how could anyone say this is a waste of time ? I feel like people are spoiled and unless a episode directly spells out Answers or is actionpacked it's filler. The show answered a lot subtly and developed characters.

This episode felt like in the cutting room they realized it was running three minutes short, so someone quickly came up with the idea to have Aubrey Plaza take her pants off and make a music video.:russ:

Hell, the way she was gyrating on David's lap at the end I'd be surprised if the working title for this episode wasn't "Nerd Boners".
