Meanwhile, Raymond Felton's weight will be a topic of conversation when training camp opens in October. Felton has said he likes to come into camp overweight because he loses it during camp and he likes to play "heavy" because it helps him feel stronger.

:comeon: @ Felton.

Why don't you just play throughout the summer & hit the weights if you wanna feel stronger?

Jeremy Lin IS a risk because after that short stint playing long minutes, he was injured. It seems a little nuts to project his health for the next 246 regular-season games (three seasons, or the scope of his next contract) when he was shelved after his first 26 games of regular playing time. With Greg Oden as my witness, some bodies aren't meant for the NBA grind. There's no special reason to suspect Lin will have trouble, but you'd feel better if he had 200 NBA games under his belt
And this is why I cringe everytime I hear the "he's an asset, he's young argument". Since when did youth stop getting injuries?

Posting this cause I was very angry with a lot of you for co-signing Stupid A. Smith's silly article and radio rants

That's my team :to:

Btw, MSG stocks dropping right now brehs :whoo:

By the same token a lot of people pretend the great end to the reg season never happened. Ignore we went 18-6 with Melo playing the best ball in the league. I see way more people pretending the only positive from last season was Lin's run. We looked great after he went down too.

listen, there's no reason for a Melo-Lin comparison. Imo, we're gonna need both playing their best basketball (alongside Tyson, STAT and everyone) in order for us to achieve our goals.

Nobody forgot how the season ended...they just noted it would've been a different story had our season ended midway through the year (which it looked like it was going to do). Remember ppl thought we were doomed and the playoffs were out of reach when we were about to go a week without Stat & Melo.

it's easy to understand why he got hurt...now that his body won't have to go from 0 to a thousand, and he can get significant rest, I'm not worried about injuries.

assuming we match :damn:

I hope cooler heads prevail and this is the conclusion the organization reaches. This is all that matters. Lin makes this team better.

Wow... two consecutive posts from JMurder and Trip that I actually agree with....

Lin must be about to sign with the Knicks.
