Its also a matter if you think Amare is still an effective offensive player or not...which kind of goes back to my point...gut feeling is Amare is going to be phased out eventually for being ineffective and Melo will slide to the four.

Amare is also a horrendous defender...and considering the moves they've made...if he isnt scoring consistently...he really serves no purpose with the way this team is built now. Feed Melo, and play defense.

Trip go find another team please your negativity is annoying as hell. This conspiracy shyt you on:snoop: amare averaged 17 and 8 off a lock out shortened season . He couldn't get his back right because he couldn't talk to team doctors so he tried to add muscle thinking it would help . How is his back fukked ? Unlike Dwight he can run already and been working on his game all summer then next month work with Kareem . He said his backs fine he just needs more shots

I'm cosigning every post u made on this page :obama:
alot of knicks fans that have the sense of :skip:

How can anyone not like these moves. Amare put up 20 and 10 against the heat with ONE hand. You can talk about his defense but his offense isnt a problem

No it's trip the guy hates melo . He seems like he wouldn't be happy to win a ring with melo as the focal point .

Dude Sounds Just Like Landry Fields lol

Only Brewer Is A Better Defender, Im Assuming His 50% Field Goal Shooting Was Alot Of Slashing To The Basket?

How's That Lil Mid Range Pull Up Jumper?

Actually in the beginning of the season, brewer shot was wet, to the point he could have took rip starting spot. But after rose went down for that long extended period his shot went back to crap especially in big games

Lot like landry, but landry young enough were it can be fixed. On the other hand for that price brewer worth it.

It could be interesting to see a ny line up with shump and brewer guarding wade and bron

Brewer won't stop bron but he will make him work

that's what Im saying though...Woodson fell in love with JR last year and I expect more of the same this year...we're going to live and die with them two on offense and hope that Novak gets open looks and gets hot.

He didn't necessarily fall in love with JR, it's just that there wasn't any other perimeter scorer on the team other than Melo who could create his own shot except for J.R.. Woodson had to let Smith play through his droughts and hope he caught fire. And Melo and Amare are our primary options, so saying we live or die by smith isn't an accurate statement. Amare still went 18 and 8 last year on 50% shooting, dude is still capable, just didn't get enough touches, with kidd and felton, that wont be an issue anymore.

We have to ignore trip he can't be objective when dealing with melo .

Trips the only one still complaining . He won't let his melo hate go And he loved lin :stopitslime:

what am I complaining about?

Im just not like the rest of you homers who think the Knicks are going 82-0 this season.

I've moved on from Lin. Why don't you?

Where have I been hating on Melo? Fact is, he was out of shape last season and its been a problem for him throughout his career. The Knicks front office took care of the defensive side, now it's time for him to carry the offense. No excuses this year.

And my feelings on Amare are from the moves this team has made. I dont see where he fits with the way the roster is built now. Half court, play defense and let Melo do work on offense. This isnt a run and screen and role, 7 seconds or less team anymore.

Trip Been Fair With His Opinions And Criticisms Lately To Me :manny:

I was annoyed with Dolan with the Lin thing and I do think it had to do with CAA/Woodson/Melo/Zeke wanting him out, but I've moved on...I havent even brought him up.

I like the Brewer move. The one thing that concerns me is Woodsons lack of offesnive sense. Atlanta was a boring ball screen/iso team...pretty much every time down the floor. We're going to live and die with jumpers.

:dwillhuh::why::sitdown: for like a day. He's right back on his antimelo jr Woodson kick. Ignoring the circumstances of why jr was shooting so much as some agenda. Like Woodson didn't yell at him all the time ? Last seasons over we talking about next year yet he won't let it go

I think you're delusional if you dont think JR is going to be taking a lot of shots this year.

If you actually edit Trips post by stripping away his attempts to be above it all, he's actually on point.

For example delete the following dumb sh!t from the above posts and the rest is solid:

"Im just not like the rest of you homers who think the Knicks are going 82-0 this season."
"...Zeke..."
