Not happy we didn't get Brewer. Damn CAA connections. Cannot compete.

Woodson is making damn sure he only has to run his offense through StatMelo. Not mad at that at all but just scares me how unimaginative Woodson is on offense and I don't see anything changing and now he has every excuse. With that said, Brewer's a very good pick up and this has to be the most balanced Knicks team in ages. If Shump can return healthy and if JR Smith can take the next step and become consistent then they'll score well despite Woodson.

I expect Stat to be completely phased out, Melo at the 4 and the offense running through him and JR, similar to Josh Smith and Joe Johnson in Atlanta....with better defenders surrounding them.

Yeah Honestly That's Something I Dont Like Too Much About Woodson.

Im Hoping For The Best (Best Being A Top 4 Seed) But You Never Know With This Team

The Positive Thing About Being So Defensively Orientated Is That Even When The Offense Looks Like shyt We Can Keep Our Heads Above Water Enough To Squeak Out Wins We Probably Shouldn't

Did you see USA vs arg? Heard prigioni looked very solid .

Brewer didn't even cross my mind, as his name was never mentioned amongst players we were interested in. I'm happy he's a Knick tho, now we just need a reliable backup Pf :jawalrus:

He just needs to make sure he comes into the season in shape and does him on offense. He doesnt even need to worry about defense now with the lineup they're putting together.

Its pretty much the exact opposite of what Dantoni was doing. This is now a team that's going to try and win ugly like the Knicks teams of the 90's and early 2000's.

Defensively this team will be fine, just building the offense areound a guy like JR Smith as the second option is scary.

(this is under my assumption that Amare is being phased out...the Knicks wont have time for him to get his "touches" on offense. Amare doesnt fit at all anymore with what theyre trying to do.)

I have a hard time agreeing with this logic. In fact I believe they brought Felton back in order to get Amar'e more involved in the offense (rekindle the chemistry the duo had before Ray was traded).

ronnie is a good pick up for that price

def not worth the 4.3 mill the bulls would have had to give him.

ronnie a great on ball defender and can guard the 2 and 3 very well.

he will get a nice amount of steals. he works the baseline very well

but his offense can be bad, and i mean very bad. to the point he will openly pass up shots in big games because he knows his jumpshot is that off.

so if you are not relying on him to give you anything offensively, you should be in good shape. our problem was we did need scoring from him because 1 season he was behind keith bogans and last season he behind injured rip.

but the knicks have enough offensive weapons were his offense becomes unnecessary.

Dude Sounds Just Like Landry Fields lol

Only Brewer Is A Better Defender, Im Assuming His 50% Field Goal Shooting Was Alot Of Slashing To The Basket?

How's That Lil Mid Range Pull Up Jumper?
