I don't get this type of reasoning? When Dolan throws money at unproven players and it turns out to be an absolute disaster everyone wants to

But let Dolan show a little restraint for once and dudes now wanna be like, Dolan is good, lets :eat:

Knicks fans really are the most emotionally damaged fans, I guess we deserve guys like Dolan and Isiah. Beating you up and making you beg for more.

dude I would 100% agree with this if they could use Lin's money on someone else....its either Lin or nothing.

Money has never been an issue to Dolan so I dont get where this is coming from.

Lin getting paid doesnt have any affect on what we can do with this roster.

Like someone said on twitter blaming Lin for the luxury tax is like 6 fat guys blaming the skinny guy for tipping the elevator over the weight limit.

Are you white or Asian ? I'm asking for real no hate. Jim has never been cheap so that should raise a little concern. The knicks were waiting on the bird rights case first , Lin went and added More money to his deal after the sheet was to be signed which is great from a business sense but is kind of a jerk move teamwise.melo was In Cali with Woodson wine and dining lin while discussing plans for the season , Woodson guaranteed Lin his starting spot back several times when he didn't have too. Melo got lin to play in the first place.

Grunwald picked up Lin after he was cut twice . Has grunwald not been a good talent evaluator ?? If he thinks lin isn't worth it he Witt know more than us .
All this is moot I just want to win a title and the team is built to win now maybe they feel Lin is too much of a project , it's. Not like he's leaning the Nba look at him in Houston like I watched melo in Denver while rooting for the Knicks

the heck does that have to do with anything? This notion of someone adding their opinion and everyone getting emotional when they disagree with it and the "oh you must be white" bullshyt is so over the top played out. Either discuss it like an adult or keep quiet.

Who knwos what Grunwald thinks...Dolan is calling the shots on the this one as he did on the Melo trade. If they dont think Lin is any good just come out and say it.

My position all along is that Lin doesnt fit into the strategy they had in place the minute they traded for Carmelo Anthony.

Look discussion with you is over. You clearly have a agenda against melo , you didnt respond to any of my points and then try to still blame melo . Lin wasn't even on the roster when we got melo so of course he doesn't fit they expected billups and td to hold it down till cp3 but we got chandler to improve our defense . A smart signing seeing how much guys like asik and jordan are getting .
Melo wouldn't have met with Lin in la if he wanted him gone he could just let Woodson go . Again grunwald deserves the benefit of the doubt more than Lin to be fair , he's looking out for the Knicks not Lin . Same way it's a business for the Knicks too .

Umm... What was the Knicks' record after Lin and Amare got hurt?

And what were Carmelo's stat's during that time period?
What was the Knicks record before Lin started, and after Melo came back during Linsanity?
this is what ive been saying.

Its not about the money...something was off the entire time with Lin/Melo/Dolan/Woodson...they were never jiving or else Lin would have been the first thing they took care of this offseason.

The Knicks knew there was a possibility of a team overbidding on Lin...now this is just damage control for the fanbase that Lin is asking for too much money and the contract is 'ridiculous'

it isnt ridiculous...they knew this could happen. I just dont think they ever had the intention of bringing him back
:manny:

We'll never know
What is your point? Majority of the year Melo was ass. 1.5 months of playing good ball because you didn't like the last coach doesn't make up for that. I give Woodson full credit...Melo doesn't get credit for finally doing what he was supposed to do
Look Lin got us out the hole cool but melo and chandler the ones who convinced dantoni to let him play . And he ran with it cool but we also had a 6 game losing streak with Lin then melo helped win all those games to keep us in front of the bucks . Not to mention melo last year going all out vs the celtics he hit that 3 or Jeffries dunks its a different series. Melo went to meet with Lin and woodson to discuss the season coming up what else you want Melo to do?? Beg him? 30 mil in the last year might be too much grunwald has been a good talent evaluator so he gets a pass hell he brought Lin , Novak shump on.
I like Lin and think he has potential but some evaluators never see him as being anything but a backup . Only time will tell I don't love Felton but I love the Knicks and want a ring . It's a business. Root for the uniform not the name cause anything can happen.
I don't like what you're insinuating here.

I always root for the team. That's why I don't defend Melo. He did some good but he also did a lot of bad. He's never going to get credit from me for making it to the playoffs last year. He was one of the major reasons we nearly missed it.

This ridiculousness would surprise me but then I remembered you were defending Landry Fields all year so this makes sense.
So you deny Melo was inconsistent as fukk for the majority of the season? I've never denied Landry Fields playing like a scrub/bench player.

J Murder shyts on Melo for playing well for a month and a half, but is so completely sold on Lin off of 20 games. Who the fukk do you think is more likely to come back and play better for the majority of the next year, the player who has been playing at a high level for 9 years or the unproven, undrafted Ivy League basketball player?

So what's the protocol for rooting for the BK Nets? I'm trying to find out if I need to turn in my Knicks jerseys in the case they don't sign Lin. WHAT THE fukk

This guy is the REAL reason we made the playoffs. Without him the whole season would've been a shyt show. He got everyone into the Knicks again. Biggest story in sports. Now we let him walk for NOTHING? Could've at least traded him for a draft pick or something. Maybe some sodas for the locker rooms, maybe? Instead the biggest story of the last season is going to walk. The 2nd biggest jersey seller will walk. I mean in the tickets, MSG viewership, brand recognition alone.

fukk it, I have options now. I'm keeping an eye on Nets tickets.

After two solid summer league games ‪#Knicks‬ signed PF Chris Copeland. Played in Belgium. Thought he was active.
