Nah, it's true. Reeves says it does take a lot out of him. You can see it does, they train and practice hard for these films.
That's one of the biggest things I noticed in the fourth film. Johnny W. was moving like a sloth.

This movie was so azz. Damn near 3 hrs of choreographed violence with a shytty story and Keanu saying a few words at a time.

I get it. After the first Wick movie came out, he was keeping a crazy schedule. For a guy in his 50s, that's not sustainable, especially with the amount of training that goes into the Wick movies. He needed a break. I'm completely fine with them taking a break for a little bit, figuring out the appropriate level of smoke and mirrors to cover for him, and delivering piff to close out the main series.
