Burned that Apple bridge in 2018. There was never a need too. Him and Rory are very very "ride for the team." That only works when the feeling is mutual on the otherside. Just take those ad dollars, bro. You are not too big and principled for that shyt. Made for a long episode that will get the net buzzing, but at what costs? Why expose absolutely everything behind the curtain? I never wanna hear the word leverage ever again from these guys.
Hes never, ever played his poker hand well. All that asskissing never got him anywhere. Pull Up, SOTC, ES, and the podcast... how diverse was that portfolio really? There was too much overlap. Who gave a fukk about SOTC, when all of that content was outdated when it was uploaded?
I still think Pull Up has incredible potential. Hold it at his house and feed everyone like those first few eps.

The first episode was great except for Casanovas goofy ass, I honestly thought that was going to be the format

I think the main thing is having that initial funding to bring people on. For instance with Bill Simmons and The Ringer network he was initially funded by HBO and then they partnered with The Medium to help build that network up. Then on top of that Simmons would basically guest on each pod for a while until it built up a following. Then you have to pay the talent and then pay producers and others more for doing all these podcasts and that money can add up. Then you need marketing people, and others to get word of mouth out there and you need salesmen to go out and acquire ads. They could get lucky and find people willing to work for free hoping to get on. While I do think that is the route to go I just don't think Joe is organized enough or forward thinking enough to really build like that.
