And i don't wanna hear shyt about Michelle Obama or Amy Schumer they are established fukking celebrities.
Corporate heads care little about the so-called creators, they are revenue driven and profit focused.
I'm halfway through Joe's breakdown and as much as he's experienced in business i'm stunned at how naive he is.
I haven’t got to that part but Spotify has way more analytical data on the pod than they would let Joe in on. They know if pod is thriving or tailing off, they know if people are fast forwarding through a lot of the pod, they know if people are sticking around Spotify after the show.
Only thing I didn't like was his complaint about Amy Schumer [which led to his Will Smith complaint]
OF COURSE a company is gonna go with someone who his famous/popular/trending before reaching out to the "little guy" You can't be Mr. Numbers and NOT see why companies would do this.
Same with Will Smith getting into the content game, why wouldn't someone like him leverage his fame/celebrity/fanbase to try and make all of that bigger by doing what works and has been working?
