Yeah I just saw this.. I hope they got a place in mind already cause I can see thst Spotify is feeling themselves. They probably don’t even think they need the JBP at this point. We will see what happens though
Spotify a company with a revenue of probably 10 billion dollar per year feeling themselves and don’t need Joe, who would’ve thought :mjlol:

the top directors probably didn’t know who Joe was when they signed him and still might not.

One can only hope that Joe has grown up, in the past he’s always wanted it one way but then man said it’s the other way

This like the first time I ain’t listen on day one. This episode was trash. They about to join drink champs and brilliant idiots on skip list, only check it out every once in a while, You could tell they clocked out and mad about the renegotiations. Idk what to tell them, they flex how much they make from this Spotify deal the whole time they been over there. Now it’s not enough money because Joe Rogan and Bill Simmons got big deal. First off they boxed themselves in on one platform early in the game, Second off you black pop culture podcast is limited from the jump. Honestly they need to chill and accept the bag they been giving. All I ask is don’t be talking copping a rolls truck, about how all you rock is designer clothes and how rich you are. It’s like hearing one of those athletes who make millions complain about be underpaid. I’m regular ass nikka Idgaf about much you make

what make the Mal shyt more frustrating is that Joe is not really articulating the point well so Mal keep countering with bullshyt

crime is crime...it happens everywhere, with every demographic and its not going to magically end. when you commit a crime, there are usually consequences for those crimes.

COPS SHOULDNT BE ABLE TO KILL CITIZENS WITH IMPUNITY....that's what the fight is about...so yeah, you're are fukking c00n to deflect from that point on some "well we gotta pull our pants up and stop killing each other before we can expect them to yada yada yada" bullshyt:camby:

NO....how bout cops not supposed to be murdering us and getting vacation.its simple as that...stay on the issue.

im from the hood..i aint never killed or robbed anybody...but ive been on the concrete in cuffs with guns at my head for walking into my own home...

the irony is...you know Parks could probably break it down but he falls back cause he knows the optics would be fukked up

luckily....there are time stamps and a 15 second skip button:manny:

Y'all keep harping on this so I'll just say this, Mal isn't refuting any of that. He's already said multiple times that he supports BLM.

All dude is saying is that we should be more aware of how we treat each other and make more of a conscious effort to not antagonize each other, period.

I agree with Joe saying that shouldn't be your response to BLM but I don't think Mal is wrong with what he's saying, just bad timing if anything.

I don’t know where the podcast goes if it’s not Spotify. Covid hit Tidal hard, I can’t see them making a huge offer especially if Joe won’t relinquish YouTube exclusive video rights.

Revolt is broke.

Going to Barstool would look bad publicly and i doubt they’re offering anything great.

Independent without being able to tour for at least another 8-12 months is hustling backwards.

I think Spotify will make them a decent offer, maybe not the Brinks truck they’re looking for, but more than they got last time. Doing the whole public negotiation thing was stupid though. They could’ve started working on this behind the scenes and quietly came to a deal.

Stitcher also just got a big bag through Sirius. I think that’ll probably be the most realistic and somewhat lucrative offer. JBP would be the big fish over there.

It's funny that they insinuate they're on the level as Rogan and Simmons. Rogan been a monster on YouTube and Simmons got a whole ass podcast network that people listen to outside of his podcast. I feel like this is going to be one of those situations where they out negotiate themselves. It's fine to be upset with how negotiations are going, but to be going at Spotify on the podcast during negotiations is going to end just like their ads did aka they lost money because they didn't know when to shut up.

I think this podcast bubble is about to burst man. This shyt is too flooded. I like the Budden Pod and I hope they work things out and come back, but they got to know they aren’t getting all these millions man. Michelle Obama got a pod now lol. She’s going to be priority over most of them other podcasts. Rogan got the bag already so I don’t know.

Paying for podcasting rights is definitely a bubble

I agree. It’s an oversaturated market right now. I do think Joe brings enough of an audience where it could be worth it for a company, but Joe is going to have start doing ads to really generate some revenue.

I would really feel bad for everyone on the show that’s not Joe Budden if they don’t have a deal at the end of this Spotify Contract

Was AK or was it Rory that CTG told to be careful getting tied up with Budden in business cause he burns down every situation he’s been in
