What was the context? Like did he say if he was a receiver or on defense? Was probably Sterling Sharpe but the other ppl inducted were Antonio Gates, Jared Allen and Eric Allen.
They were talking about Eli and how he didnt get in on the first ballot. Joe said he was mad but not upset because he knows hes eventually getting in. Ish added that Eli’s stats were mediocre and that the only reason hes in the top-10 of some lists is because of how long he played. Then after that, Joe says congrats to Emmitt Smith and that he cant be mad that he got in before Eli.

yea, idk who the fukk he talking about. Also from all the football heads I know, Eli doesnt deserve to be in the HoF. He only gets in because of the sb wins and his last name(last name doing the heavy lifting). Like Sterling Sharpe had like a 3-4 year stretch where he was the best receiver in the game. Many ppl view this class of HoF as a "return to form" of the voters only letting the elite in. Ppl saying Eli may not get in for a few more years with the classes that's coming up. Brees next year, then gronk/Brady coming up too. Im a casual, maybe a football head can chime in to say which one of the inductees from this year didnt deserve to be in.
