All his interviews are not the same
You comparing a 20 minute live saweetie interview, which is an exception, to his most common interview is just hate. A vast majority of his interviews are with athletes, comedians and older male artists. Then about 1 in 30 or so is a Glo Rilla, or that thick headed broad that always acts like a victim

No Shannon can have the interview and he wants to learn about the subject he isn’t biased by preconceived notions . Joe with the gamma interview was clearly obsessed with asking about Drake and getting Tea and didn’t go further into what is going on at Gamma. He also didn’t even get an answer about the Drake question so he fumbled . Shannon makes the interview a safe space and then people open up . I personally would like to see him talk with Drake and see where’d they go.
He is very ungrateful too . I saw Ak the other night talking about how people like Elliot and Rosenberg are happy Drake lost and were riding against him because he doesn’t do enough playing the game . Hes not giving them interviews and the labels not checking in then this interview he kind of confirmed this and yet doesn’t seem to care that other artists aren’t giving him interviews. It’s like how many interviews does Drake have to give you ? He gave you your biggest look , did it help him with the ghostwriting aspect by going on the platform maybe but he also earned from it .
Aldi journalism is supposed to be unbiased if your on your social media dik riding his opps yet Drake gave you your biggest look I’d block you too cornball
from a journalist perspective. going outside the immediate camp is the better strategy. you could learn more about the QM situation talking to drama/cannon/qm and then approaching drake, which would then compel him to give more info. Elliott wants the look.

Those losers on HOT 97 are so out of touch and irrelevant now. Same with Breakfast Club to a lesser degree. Their lifecycle is finished or on its last last legs.
Radio DJs/Media Gatekeepers who were around in the 90's believe they are owed an opportunity.
How long would it take him to accept an artist that was once white hot, isn't hot anymore? Days at the most.

It will be an opportunity to hold space and have a SERIOUS conversation about Black boys/men being abused.
But I only expect Mel to have the range to have the conversation.
