1. I mean the 2500 was the prize, that Ice won. He just said he gonna buss the rest down for everyone there, separate from the prize money.
2. He threw shots at gille and others for ads, because he knows how cheap those ads pay. For hims/Me Undies/Blue Chew cheap as hell. Brilliant Idiots and Flagrant 2 had/have those same ads. How you gonna break down $600.


Nah, I think we may get some good shyt. Flip knows the BM, not the pornstar that is creating all the drama. I can see flip going in on her hard because she was attacking Rose(the one flip knows).

And we gon see wit the Zion segment but it seems like they gon find a way to either serious it up or not let the jokes fly like they should, and just ruining would should be a classic moment fr.

The amount a sponsor pays for ads depends on the volume of the listenership. It might’ve cost a lot less on shows like Brilliant Idiots and Flagrant 2 several years ago, but Flagrant 2 especially is much bigger now. So I highly doubt it only costs $600 to get on that show.

Joe will find any reason to bring up his Complex and Spotify situations. How much longer will he talk about this? He’s gonna be like those dudes in their 30s/40s who talk about their high school/college days and what could’ve been.

And I get a bit annoyed every time Joe talks about how much he’s paying people, the contract with Flip, how he owes Flip and Ish via CashApp, comments whenever he notices one of them getting money elsewhere, etc.

Shyt cheapens the show and for Joe to act high and mighty all the time, it’s an awful look to constantly do the money talk live on the podcast…or at all if you’re the boss he claims to be, especially given that giant blemish he has with the R&M situation.

It only proves that he’s still real funny when it comes to money and his system still seems out of order. Probably pains him to pay his employees and he doesn’t want anyone to grow because it would likely kill him internally if they deserved more.

Joe has surrounded himself with people he needs to get that talk off. The majority of his team got they money up off his pod so he knows he king amongst them.

He’s been trying to be pretend he doesn’t do ads or payola but that movie ad was painfully blatant he’s done it quite a few times and i’m sure the Reddit gang will start hitting the archives

It’s not a doubt in my mind he wants to take ads because he needs that revenue stream but he’s painted himself into a corner where he would look like an idiot and a hypocrite if he does. He might just be desperate enough that he doesn’t care

Edit: the bust down part is wild I’m sure he got that check well before they did the show and he made no mention of paying them until now
