It's the same barbershop shyt I've heard for decades. No matter how many stats or real life outcomes you show these people, they will never believe a college degree is valuable. It's an undeniable fact that people with degrees make more money than those who don't have one.
Also think it's a bad idea for rich people not to demand some level of achievement from their children. I know rich people who don't give their kids a dime (outside of for school) until they graduate. The money doesn't get you into a lot of doors unless you have the degree.

Go to college, have fun, learn some practical skills. He's been in the music industry for a long time. Trey ain't gonna be able to forge a bunch of connections because of his father's name.
And tbh, I wouldn't be surprised if Joe ends up like that with Trey. I just couldn't imagine squandering that opportunity when your college life is damn near guaranteed to be fire
