The tickets are priced dynamically to minimize the percentage at scalpers, in the end you might just have a few tickets left at the scalpers.
On other major shows, scalpers buy all of them cheaply and resell them expensively. Jay-z, the capitalist he is, together with his partners at Live Nation invented this system to fukk over the scalpers but this also requires selling tickets dynamically. That means that floor tickets can go for 100s of bucks instead of 99 bucks at your normal show. While Taylor Swift had a few 100 unsold tickets on ticketmaster 1 hour before , Beyonce/Jay had a few 100 on Stubhub. All due to their different pricing strategies to combat scalping.
