I think it takes time. They were required to be side characters for years so it's not going to change overnight. Mal just starred in the most talked about music video released this week and Rorys about to drop his album. I think in a couple months they will be considered "main characters".
No one said anything about who was right or wrong. It's obvious if Rory had a choice, he would choose Joe. He don't really fukk with Mal. Who the fukk agrees with the nikka who fired you on the first episode of their new podcast? Rory showed how he felt day 1.

If you're not an entertainer or any of that sort, podcasting is just a promotional tool for these already somewhat notable people. Its not about content or having interesting discussions, it's literally a marketing tool for them.
-Rory needs EmoOranges promo and Mal doesn't really do shyt (assuming maybe he does stuff for roc nation, Biggs, a small label etc.)
-Mandy has an MTV show coming out and Bridgette had a music career (see the ting is)
-Kaz works heavily with WWE. ESPN and the Knicks while Lowkey works for Apple Music (Sayless)
There are tons of people out there creating on their own and making some pretty dope material but the influencer podcast game is a gimmick that people gotta stop following as some inspiration.
