The podcast is way for them to maintain their fan base while they transition to TV and music. I think the Sirius deal is only for 2 years.

Good for them. Their podcast is relatively successful; I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't been approached about a show on Sirius as of yet

They’re side characters who don’t realize they’re side characters. Nothing wrong with that, that’s most people. But most people don’t have a podcast and if they did, it would probably suck. Like their podcast sucks more often than not. I’m glad they got the bag because fukk Joe’s business tactics but…they ain’t it. You can’t be too cool to do your job. This isn’t an industry party where you can sit in a corner and look interesting. You’ve got to be interesting.

The show was at it's peak around 2017-2018. The pod fell off when Mal became disinterested in contributing anything besides "that's crazy"... He also started revealing just how dumb he is with his covid and trump takes. Ice and Ish are cool but they'll never be able to recapture the magic of those first few years after Mal joined the pod.

Pretty much. I've literally fallen asleep listening to Mal

If you're not an entertainer or any of that sort, podcasting is just a promotional tool for these already somewhat notable people. Its not about content or having interesting discussions, it's literally a marketing tool for them.

-Rory needs EmoOranges promo and Mal doesn't really do shyt (assuming maybe he does stuff for roc nation, Biggs, a small label etc.)
-Mandy has an MTV show coming out and Bridgette had a music career (see the ting is)
-Kaz works heavily with WWE. ESPN and the Knicks while Lowkey works for Apple Music (Sayless)

There are tons of people out there creating on their own and making some pretty dope material but the influencer podcast game is a gimmick that people gotta stop following as some inspiration.

How is Ish solid when he can’t even discuss half the topics on the show because he’s done zero research? Joe has to antagonize the man just to get his heart pumping. Nah.

At least Ice puts effort in and isn’t afraid to talk. The problem right now is the pod got two people (Joe and Ish) afraid to say shyt or simply out the loop. Honestly for the shyt I gave Rory…he’d be better on the pod alongside Joe and Ice.
