I hate when Joe brings up a topic and has an opinion and refuses to say it

On the patreon episode they're talking about Dizaster and Crooked I battle and Joe keeps being cryptic and not saying what he wants to say and just does the "I don't get paid enough to say what's really going on". Then why bring it up?
1. Like nikka, it's a patreon episode, what you mean you dont get paid enough?
2. He did the same shyt with Gibbs/Benny situation on the sat pod.
"I hope this isnt what started the Gibbs Butcher beef"
Parks/Ice/Ish"What is it?"
"I dont even want to say it, so I'ma leave it alone"

Why say anything about it in the first place? :why:

the only NY bias point that needs to be made is the one where New Yorkers feel like if you dont know east coast hip hop or hold it in high regard, you're opinion is invalid...all of us are biased to what we grew up on, but NY catches hell for it because they cant accept that they are "regional" as well and some of that shyt they consider consensus didnt pop in other places.

Ice made that point but it was kinda glossed over....Ish tried to cosign that with the 50 cent thing but that was a bad example. 50 AND X are the two that I can say from personal experience, transcended.
It's the argument I've had for years stretching back to my military experience with dudes from NY. Us dudes from Texas and other places in the south wasn't fukking with Nas and Wu Tang like that and they'd swear it was because we were to " slow" to get it. I'd always quote "The late great Pimp-C" "it gets no play down in Texas that shyt don't bump in da trunk". But on the real Joe and Ish remind me of them dudes cause we all in the same age range, early to mid 40s. They can't comprehend that we wasn't checking for they local regional ass legends. Most of the south from GA to TX fukked with the west coast back then. K104 in Dallas would only play the big singles by NY rappers but other than that we had are own thing

LOL he's too old to be on vacation??

According to the Coli, 40+ is too old to do anything but sit in a rocking chair and wait to die.
I hear that shyt all the time. I turned 40 last year. I'm rarely on social media but when I do post something it's usually me traveling and some of those pics will include partying. I had some people say "you too old for that" and how I need to settle down. Like WTF am I supposed to do until I meet the woman to settle down with, just sit around doing crossword puzzles. And it be from the same people that are settled down and miserable as hell because they were in such a rush to settle down.

Catching up on Wednesday's episode, but United is trash :dahell:

That joint is the worst I've been on. I haven't flown Spirit, Frontier or any of the other budget joints. And I've never seen a screen in a seat on a United flight lol

Like most airlines it depends on where you flying and the length of the flights. When I flew to Hawaii on United it was a great experience. They had the screens at every seat, decent price tickets for upgrades, and with seats with damn good legroom.

I think it's exaggeration both ways. NY dudes always overrate their NY rappers and think they had more reach than they did. But also non-NY people that downplay how much reach some of the bigger acts from NY had. Even back then there was a lot of casual fans so even though the hoods may have been bumping more local artists the more casual rap fans were still bumping the artists like Jay, Nas, Mase and the like. Them nikkas wasn't doing the big ass tours across the country if they were only getting local play.

It’s in every episode at this point. You’re either getting a generic Joe take on things, or “I shouldn’t say anything” followed by cross talk.

Anything that got played on the radio got reach

the NY bias is when the Fans claim that ny rap was ”real rap“ and all that other nonsense

Joe and Ish are right about the inside and outside debate 100% on the Patreon.

I understand why Ice feels a way but they're not wrong. There's a difference between hearing music and experiencing life with the music.

Putting No Limit over Wu Tang in New York is some shyt you'd have to stand on and be ready to fight. Lol like dead ass. It's just different.

Cot damn on the latest episode these nikkas did all this arguing to confirm they have a NY bias :unimpressed:

They basically did everything to confirm they had a NY Bias
:mjlol:

One thing I definitely do agree with that they mentioned was that other regions should have Hip Hop Media just as visible as Joe or Ak. Many of the media gatekeepers are STILL NY based despite the run of success southern artists have had.
