It’s more than that. He then proceeds to talk about the YSL indictment like he doesn’t speak on wanting all the realism in his music and shyt. He’s like a 45 year old dude excited about music from kids about killing each other. But doesn’t see the irony in acting all disappointed over the indictments. The show is jumping the shark for me some but I’ve been reluctant to be critical in this thread.

I also have not been able to get past Ish being kind of a dead beat lol. I’m not sure I like these two nikkas and Joe is already unlikeable but in a necessary “this is his podcast” kind of way. I’ve just been kind of stuck listening because I’ve always listened to this pod.

But I haven’t liked it that much in the past year overall.

Haven’t peeper yet but curious about the reaction to the Rico. If you’re caught in a Rico you prob did that shyt and the feds are gonna bury you regardless.

At some point we gotta ask why a black man nearing 50 years old is so excited to listen to dudes rapping about killing each other. Or why we want to make this a racial thing when the only other music that recites real crime is Mexican narco music. No one else does this as predominantly as young black artists. Miss me with the “what about metal” talking points.

Something is wrong here and the way labels line up to pump this shyt is ugly. I’m NOT opposed to violent rap. I’m taking about this “killed my opp in the Burger King parking lot” snitch rap.

This dude is publicly aligning himself with genocide. I know reddit is CACs but they've completely turned on this pod and Joe with his NCP is dropping by the shyt on the fans of the pod as well. They think at a certain age you should only listen to Nas and Jazz and if you dare listen to something current then you’re not acting your age

Music is subjective but Ish really doesnt have a leg to stand on in regards to anything after Reasonable Doubt, which yeah we know youre old but its kind of your job if you have a platform. He doesn't like Kendrick or Nas (which is fine I guess) and it makes him sound funny when everyone kinda hops on a train like Jack Harlow knowing damn well not one person on that pod listens to him.

Kendrick does have a right to speak on Nipsey because it's can be deducted that all parties involved were OK with it, which is what I had a problem with one of the guys aligning this to a Joyner Lucas move.

Joe is a fukk but he at least explains why he doesn't want to cover rappers in the future, he's been consistent since 2019 when it comes to this.
