Music is subjective but Ish really doesnt have a leg to stand on in regards to anything after Reasonable Doubt, which yeah we know youre old but its kind of your job if you have a platform. He doesn't like Kendrick or Nas (which is fine I guess) and it makes him sound funny when everyone kinda hops on a train like Jack Harlow knowing damn well not one person on that pod listens to him.

Kendrick does have a right to speak on Nipsey because it's can be deducted that all parties involved were OK with it, which is what I had a problem with one of the guys aligning this to a Joyner Lucas move.

Joe is a fukk but he at least explains why he doesn't want to cover rappers in the future, he's been consistent since 2019 when it comes to this.

Ish saying the beat and lyrics are cool but it doesn’t make for a great song is how I think most rap fans feel about H5

Who said it was not good on the pod? Ice said it was the worst of the hearts, but it’s still good and beautiful art on it’s own. Ish was saying stans would say this is a classic and not even understand the message.

I’m purposely ignoring Ish’s take. He comes across as someone who feels self important in person but doesn’t know how to get that off on the pod.

that’s another reason I was critical of Ice. He gushed over the song once he moved past the “it’s the worst in the Heart series” take. He started off very negative then eased off as the conversation went on. That’s what made his initial take seem disingenuous.

Ice was right in his breakdown of heart pt 5. If Joyner or Game did the 3rd verse they would be called out for it.
Joe’s point about them not being able to get the beat was dumb and had nothing to do with Ice’s point.

I was thinking the exact same shyt on Sunday when I heard the third verse lol.

If this was Joyner or Game dropping a song rapping in Nipsey's perspective, 2 years after his death, and week before they album drops, saying the same shyt Kendrick was saying in that song about forgiving his killer, they would get killed on social media.

Joe always deflects when he doesn't have a counter point. And Game had a Marvin Gaye sample a couple albums ago with Savage Lifestyle off 1992.

Jack Harlow Album - Joe funny as hell. He didn’t say ANYTHING about the album because he thinks it’s trash and he cool with Drama .
He only said “yea”, agreeing with Ice that he thought it would be more like first class.
Seems like he wanted to take the opportunity to shyt on Pharrell instead.

Nobody said that quote. Joe will always be able to leverage his established listener base for a nice deal with a company trying to launch a new platform. He did the same thing with facebook last year. Also being close with Nicki (Queen Radio is exclusive on Amp) definitely helped.

That sentiment of Joe not being able to secure any type of deal has been pushed here and other places. Yes Joe haters are that delusional, it’s why I had to put some on ignore.
