Why would he. If I'm a profit partner in a business and the owner decides, this business is getting too big so I don't want to honor that no more and instead just put you on a salary you'd be a damn fool to accept it. It ain't got shyt to do with having a job or not.

Yep, like someone said earlier in the thread. If the labels fukking with the numbers and they fake..........why wouldnt they have they artists albums selling 100k? It doesnt make sense for them not to.
They were just talkin about Rap vs RnB a few pods ago. RnB artist may only do 30k first week, but they gonna do that 30k weekly for a year. Fivio/Coi not no acts that's gonn do 30k for a year.

Exactly. Why would the labels want these small numbers to be so visible, when the music and clout from the music is how you book the stages, the endorsements and all that?? They want the song/album charting decently or at the LEAST viral in some manner.

And even the R&B ppl ain't doing 30k a week for a year. The JBP are in a bubble like most ppl but it's worse because they have a platform just to be stupid. I would argue R&B, besides maybe 4-5 ppl has a harder time cutting through because it's not the most popular genre and hasn't been for 10+ years.

Mal has had a job before.... I think all of them had jobs before. It's hard to say you getting a percentage of the profit to you're getting a salary based off what I want to pay you. It is what it is at this point

So these bums spent multiple pods claiming Fivio was next, the hoes were listening to him so you know he's popping, NY is back, etc etc...and the minute he bricked at 30k they wanna whip out the "well first week sales don't mean much anymore."


Fivio flopped, period. 30k can be a good number for some artists. But for an artist with that much money pumped into the project? Nope. It's a flop and the label won't recoup.
