It’s about Roc Nation. They aren’t getting paid money. They’re freely offering up their platforms as a mouthpiece for Jay in hopes of receiving things. Roc Nation brunch. Product placements.
I don’t think Jay is sitting somewhere demanding anyone shyt on Nas. By all accounts they’re friends and I think both artists view themselves as the defacto GOAT so it’s moreso friendly competition at this point. But I def think people like Joe believe that anything they can say/do to propagate “Jay is the best, no one else is close, no one has ever done what he’s done etc” narratives will get them that invite…
He's not demanding it, but his circle of media personalities are still trapped in 2002. Remember when Dream Hampton tried to start that BS rumor that Nas had ghostwriters on Untitled? And Joe had said some slick shyt about Nas bars on KD2.
Whether they bash Nas or not, it's clear that they can't utter anything negative about Jay.

Exactly. This has nothing to do with Jay vs Nas. I just hate how they can always talk about legends or people who deserve respect and then act like Nas is just another rapper. They'll say Future is a legend and just completely leave Nas out in the same list

The difference between the “Hovengers” and the Nas stans on this site is the platform and popularity. Yall do the same thing With Nas that Joe and them do with Hov and THATS what makes it HIGH-LARIOUS
Nas stans are the only ones that still try to connect Nas and Jay to everything. If you like Jay you hate Nas, vice versa. If you talk about Jay, you should talk about Nas.

The platform of people who’s voice matter in a way makes a big difference from randoms online talking shyt. Joe n them are for all intents and purposes “media”. When the bullshyt war and online banter hits the media is when it becomes weird. A cop can’t operate in the same manner as a random nikka on the streets. There’s standards he has to uphold based on his job. Joe essentially fits the category of what the cop would be. To act like there’s no difference or even no danger in the difference is being disingenuous. Overall tho none of this shyt matters. But don’t act shocked when people call it out.

Joe’s take on Big Sean’s interview was the most bytch made take he’s delivered in recent time. After all the time he’s been fukked by major companies, head of creator equity and on. His conclusion is that Sean is own his own and not as big anymore
Then backhanded compliments like “He’s alone now clap for him”, “he’s been dealing with mental health, pray for him”.
Kanye’s obsession with Drake and getting on Blessings was translated to Sean ain’t been the same without Kanye being involved in his projects.
