Is douyin regulated specifically or is douyin abiding by the law like all other online video platforms in china?
they're not threatening to ban tiktok because teh CCP doesn't promote free speech. multiple U.S politicians are on record criticizing the speech on tiktok that they don't like.

Ask your self, why does China have two separate apps for China and America if everything is on the up and up and why can’t the Chinese citizens use the American app?
