International Court of Justice orders Israel to prevent genocide in Gaza
Judge Donoghue says the court has decided that Israel must “take all measures within its its power” to prevent all acts within the scope of the genocide convention.

She adds that Israel must ensure “with immediate effect” that its forces do not commit any of the act in the genocide convention.

Israel must also take immediate measures to improve the humanitarian situation in Gaza.

The South African government said it welcomed the provisional measures the ICJ had ordered against Israel.

There has never been a true "rules-based order" or "international law." Rather, it has always been about enforcing what the leading nation of the western hegemony wants.

With power comes preference, but that doesn't mean that willful and gratuitous bullshyt should be allowed. And frankly if Western countries like the US and the UK ignore and flout these judgements, then the idea of an international "community" will cease, and those countries will suffer as a result.
