This was a great movie that's largely been forgotten.

Got overshadowed by Interstellar, also 2010s had a lot of sci-fi, space adjacent movies and Arrival wasn't as flashy.

Movie was based on a short story by Ted Chaing. His two collections of short stories are amazing.
