I saw it on reddit and went around looking for expert opinions on it and the consensus seems to be that what he does on the video isn't much proof of anything, Gorilla Glass would have performed just as well
to get a real test on it you would have to place it over sand or concrete and throw the glass with full phone weight on a surface, only them would it tell you whether its better than Gorilla Glass or not
also it seems its just sapphire laminate rather than pure Sapphire which is why its hardness is questioned(Sapphire is the second hardest natural substance after diamond)
Sapphire is used on high end watches as well as camera lenses because of its durability and clarity

I had it before, it was nice to have my whole album collection in the cloud and which I could access them on any and every iDevice I own. Sadly the cloud only allows playback of songs in lossy format and at 256 or lower. I support buying music and do not download any albums but instead I'm purchasing and re ripping CDs that I already own into high resolution audio formats that's lossless such as AIFF. There's nothing like listening to CD quality audio or high resolution on your iDevice while out on the go. Since the cloud cannot handle lossless I didn't renew and I'm just going to buy the iPod Classic 160GB.
