I only had my workstation laptop which is off limits as far as downloading goes, and my wife's busted ass laptop that's

I used to run Plex but the computer was too shytty to be useful for it. Now I just moved some files over on my new PC and tried it again, set up my folders (I never got this option the first time I set it up) and this shyt is dope as fukk.

I saw that it even pulls the damn show's covers and shyt

What are you trying to do? You can either go XBMC or Plex route.

Well I plan in getting movies on full 1080p.
I would like for the program to organize it properly with information and art.
It would mainly be on my iMac,
I would like to install on my MacBook Pro to hook up to my tv and stream to my iPhone as well if possible.

Check out Plex then. With it you will be able to stream all off your library to any iOS and Android device.

Does your HDTV support DNLA?

You might be able to just watch it directly off of your TV without having to hook up your Macbook to it.

Did you install Plex Media Server on your system? If so open it up and configure it. Not sure how it works on Macs though...

The device with the media needs Plex Media Server installed. All other devices just need the specific Plex App they require whether it be some mobile Plex app or Plex Media Center for Windows/Mac computers.
