Brehs, I have a new spot, my basement is partially finished and I am considering putting a bathroom in the basement, should I go with a half or full, I don't see myself or anyone using a shower in the basement but will it change the value of the home when it comes time to sell?

I figure if you're going to put in a bathroom and have the space, might as well put in a full.

Is your basement a walkout? What else you got down there?

No walkout, right now there is a just a entertainment room but I want to add a finished storage closet mostly for clothing and maybe a laundry room.

Hmm, then a half bathroom will do. Also would be good to have your washer & dryer down there. Would open up space where they currently are

When is detroit expected to bounce back?

bro detroit already back depending on who you talking to

they doing it piece by piece...neighborhood by neighborhood

whats throwing everything off ....is all these fukkin abandoned houses in the city, but they are demolishing ALOT of them...you can drive up and down a gang of blocks and see demolition sites...once they tear down these houses....its gone look alot better automatically..we got alot of nice houses already mixed in with bandos/burned up houses..so just from a visual standpoint people are gonna wanna buy/rent and be attracted to the city...we got alot of land too....detroit actually got some of the better built houses in the country...where else can you get a brick house still standing for 1-5 thousand in america?

fed money coming thru...redevelopment plans being announced every month...in these are in the neighborhhoods im not just talking about downtown and the surrounding areas...the 3 unit i copped... which is near my neighborhood im from van dyke and kercheval,,,crib by mack and boulevard....they calling it "Islandview" detroit :pachaha: ...they renaming neighborhoods n everything lol bruh... this shyt is crazy... neighborhood i grew up in called west village(been named that but nikkas aint never used that shyt) :mjlol:...i tell my white co workers where im from they go :ohhh: ...now my hood aint never look fukked up...but i gotta give white folks credit they damn sure know how to add value to some shyt lmao...you cant even live on my block no more..everything 150k-200k n up

imma say u have 2-3 years left to aquire for the low...in 3-5 years still decent prices but u gonna have to have a lil bread/or a bank....5-10 years you spending some cheese to live in the city...the media been showing detroit bottoming out...but you know shyt dont stop...detroit is like the last major urban american city...you wouldnt even know detroit got 3 major unis IN the city...some of the best hospitals IN the country....plus we close to the water...all the people that moved to the burbs dying to get back to the water

so by the time they really announce detroit coming back its gone be expensive to live in...once they fix these schools its really gone skyrocket

i told myself since im in this industry already...imma grind for 5 more years and im gone to chicago or miami...i aint tryna be a landlord i just want 3-5 multis maybe an apartment :yeshrug:
