It is... Florida is starting to implement some safeguards to try to combat it like "smart hills" and barriers and raising streets... Still a risky investment. You gotta have the doe of course and the mental make up to understand your seven figure investment has a stronger likelihood to get wiped out than inland properties.
I was pricing beach properties off the coast of NC a few months ago during a visit... maaaaaaaan, those agents eatin' man.
Its the same way in SC bruh. I was looking at getting a second home on Lake Murry and the homes cost as much or more than my DC rowhouse.
finally got some stools for the island in my kitchen

Close to 4K sq ft if I count the finished walkout basement. Sits on 1.25 acres in a suburban CT town.
The 71K did include our down payment, should've clarified.
Definitely Gonna put a full bath in basement. might clear some land for in ground pool down the line
i paid $150k for it back in 2011 when the market had bottomed out; my home was also a REO.How much does something like that go for in GA?
absolutely
You gotta show the inside please !!
Word. thank you homie. Great space. And those would be some dope enhancements. Especially if you're trying to resell one day.
Oh, and you know I gotta do it...

The stone was about 10k because it's 3 slabs. 1 on top and the 2 sides. There's cabinetry and a dishwasher underneath too though that was separate.
