because i eat a ton of lettuce, and was sick of buying it lol.

I also eat a lot of spinach, but its actually easier to just buy that instead of growing it.

I wish i could grow avocado here, I eat at least one avocado a day.

I actually eat very clean, so i eat a ton of nuts, veggies and meat, and avoid the carb filled foods. So i tried to grow a salad garden lol.

Yeah, I am

lol @ the spinach thing. Thanks for the advice.

I want to grow shyt that I'm actually going to eat.

I got a Mamey tree and my back yard already. And my neighbors have Starfruit, mango, lemons, banana, avocado, and lechosa (I dunno how to say that in english) so they stay feeding me.

I was thinking about grown all my own herbs and spices and veggies.

Let me ask, why you grew so many different types of lettuce?

Closed on my first house 12/18/15, Stayed in apartment the for a year prior and then lived with my parents before that. The lease was up at the apartment in September so i moved back in with my parents and allowed me to stack some bread.
My credit score is in the high 600's closer to 700 but was able to get a FHA loan that took care of the down payment. I have student loans out as well as 2 auto loans.
Out out of pocket i paid: ~$500 for home inspection, another $500 for the appraisal , ~$700 for earnest money, which got returned and rolled into my loan at closing. Then I also paid ~$1000 at closing, but then got a check from the bank for $650. This all happened in a span of 1.5 months.

House itself sold for $150k 2050 sqft house. The house appraised for 165k as there were a TON of upgrades in the house. Granite counter tops, high end kitchen appliances, etc:wow:. Seller took care of most of the closing cost. I think like 4.5k. Loving it so far.

How much did your mortgage end up being?

:ehh: Very impressive @JerkPork ! LOL my yard is 24' x 36' but I am in a city neighborhood. Luckily that means all I need is a rotary push mower and an electric weedwacker for the lawn.

Yea, i copped a gas self-propelled mower for $160 off craigslist, got a gas trimmer from walmart for $70 and got a $100 blower off homedepot off a good sale. I did the backyard friday, had to go over it twice because the grass was so high. I'll be doing the front probably today or tomorrow. Then spread weed n' feed to try and kill those dandelions.
